IMA-SA extends an invite to one and all to attend the 40th IMASA convention, which will take place on the 1st and 2nd October 2022, at the Coastlands Musgrave Conference Centre in Durban.

IMA-SA is happy to be hosting this years convention in the beautiful city of Durban, where the Islamic Medical Association of South Africa was formed and where the first convention was held.

We acknowledge the mercy and bounty of Allah (SWT) and we are pleased to be able to give the Association the honour and recognition that it deserves.

IMA-SA began was formed by a small group of concerned individuals and has since grown tremendously with a current membership of more than 2000 people and 13 branches nationally. Each branch is involved in numerous activities assisting local communities where they can.

This convention allows IMA-SA to update members and the community about its various projects around the country and also provides the National Executive and Council the opportunity to reflect on critical activities and plan for future ventures.

This years theme is “FORTY AND FORWARD”, as IMA-SA reflects on the past 40 years, celebrating its accomplishments thus far, and looking forward to achieving much more.
