The Call of Al Aqsa Conference held in Karbala, Iraq from 6-7th September 2022 has brought together scholars and activists for Palestine from all walks of life and from more than 60 countries of Africa, Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North and Latin America.
This conference affirms to our brave and courageous Palestinian brothers and sisters and we say unequivocally to them that you are not alone. We hear your call and the Call of Al Aqsa and all of occupied Palestine.
We affirm that our struggle for Palestine is a struggle for the liberation of all Palestinians Muslims, Christians and Jews from the oppression of the Zionist Israeli Apartheid regime.
We are inspired by our presence in Karbala and draw valuable lessons from the martyrdom of Imam Hussain as a motivation to continue the struggle in support of all oppressed and suffering masses of the world.
We say no normalisation until all political prisoners are freed, until all refugees have the right of return and until the occupation ends.
We pay tribute to the children of Palestine, our heroes who daily stand in defiance and who have laid down their lives in defence of Masjidul Aqsa and for all of occupied Palestine. Your sacrifice motivates us and your martyrdom nourishes the tree that will bear the fruits of freedom and we will not relent until all of occupied Palestine is free.
We support the Call of Al Aqsa Conference declaration from Karbala to Palestine and call all freedom loving people to continue to mobilise for the Palestinian struggle and bring an end to the occupation.
