Aqsa week

Aqsa Week is a global initiative which officially began in 2017 to promote the love for Masjid Al-Aqsa, inform people of its history and significance, as well as highlight the dangers faced by the mosque and the Palestinian people.

This year Aqsa Week will commence on Monday, 13th February to Sunday, 19th February 2023.

A call is being made to university societies, families, mosques, workplaces, halaqas, local councils and parliaments around the world to hold events under the banner of #LoveAqsa.

Aqsa week encourages people around the world to organise events, create conversation and raise awareness on the centrality of Masjid Al-Aqsa as well as the plight of the Palestinian people. The week includes workshops, talks, activities and shareable content for adults and children, all under the banner of #LoveAqsa.

Learning and knowing more about the sacred mosque increases our love for it.

Aqsa Week should be used to teach Muslim and non-Muslims of the great heritage of Masjid Al-Aqsa and how to support occupied people across the world.
