The AGM will take place at the Taronga Road Masjid Hall, in Crawford, starting at 10am. There will also be an address by Moulana Yunus Patel, Chairman of SANHA and Secretary General of the United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA). All are welcome and there will be special seating arrangements for ladies.
In a statement, SANHA’s public relations office, EBI Lockhat told Al Qalam: “From the inception of SANHA more than two decades ago, we have fiercely upheld the principles of transparency and accountability to those we serve. Action speaks louder than words and hence we proudly host annual general meetings (AGM) open to the public.”
The Guest Speaker at the AGM is Mohammed Mahomedy, the acting Group Chief Executive of Transnet.
