Minister Gordhan leaves a profound legacy of integrity, commitment, hard work, and passion. His contribution to the anti-apartheid struggle and the democratic period is the embodiment of true revolutionaries and heroes, a legacy that will continue to inspire generations.
To quote Muhammad Ali: “Service to others is the rent we pay for your room here on earth.” Minister Gordhan paid more than his due share of rent. He was a larger-than-life figure in all the organisations he served. His was well-lived.
May his loved ones, extended family, friends, and associates find the strength and support they need during this difficult time.
