This is so sickening and beyond belief that Tony Blair could effectively become the Governor of Gaza.
This is, as Craig Murray wrote in The Consortium News, headlined: “What Fresh Hell Is This? Blair is that same man who triggered the killings of a million Iraqis based on his lies about weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
This is a man who has made hundreds of millions of pounds through PR services to dictators. This is the same man whose Tony Blair Institute has drawn up the “Gaza Riviera” plans for Trump, and who has been discussing with western oil companies the takeover of Gaza’s gas fields – now that he is touted to administer the mass grave which Gaza has become.
Craig Murray goes on to write that “in any reasonable world this would be impossible. The degeneration of Western society is profound. There are no ethics in play beyond the dominance of power, wealth and greed. Blair manages to embody these in one person.”
One notable quote from Douglas Reed’s ‘Insanity Fair’ comes to mind in his reflection on the League of Nations: “I went to watch the League of Nations, with high expectations then (for I was still callow) and was repelled by the manner of its proceedings, which was without dignity, by the lobbying and canvassing behind the scenes, and by the throng of hangers-on and intriguers which infringed it”.
We are in a vertiginous decline and are well on our way through hell.
