Recipe by The Daily Dilemna
Ingredients
- 500g mince/ground beef
- 1 onion – chopped or sliced
- 2 green chillies
- 4 cloves of garlic – sliced
- 3 tblsp Olive oil
- 1 green pepper – cut into small cubes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Lemon pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Dry parsley
- 1 tsp Chilli flakes
- 1 tsp Origanum
- 3 tsp Paprika
- 3 tsp crushed cumin (jeeru)
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 1 packet tomato paste
- 2 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tin Red Kidney Beans
- Avocado, Creme fraiche/sour cream
- Tortilla chips, Lemon, Chives
Directions:
- Fry onion, green chilli and garlic slices in olive oil. Add in chopped green pepper. Once onions are lightly browned, add in mince. Fry for a few minutes.
- Add in all the spices and mix through. Add in tomato, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce. Mix and cook for a few minutes. Add in kidney beans and cook.
- Top with lemon wedges, avocado, creme fraiche and chives. Serve with tortilla chips, tortillas, rice or tacos.
