Dato’ Kamarudin Abdullah, a prominent Malaysian Islamic scholar, International Dawah Activist and Motivational & Public Speaker, will be the guest speaker at the Ahmed Deedat Annual Lecture Series to be held in six towns and cities across South Africa from September 23 to October 1.
His first public talk will be held on September 26 at Tarteel-Al Quraan Institute, Mountain Rise, after Esha.

After reading the Quran, Dato’ Haji Kamarudin decided to revert to Islam when he was just 18-years old..
He then began traveling the world, passionately gathering Islamic Knowledge. He actively involved himself in Dawah to the “not-yet Muslim”s at all levels. He frequently engaged in dialogue with Christian missionaries, atheists, agnostics and people of other beliefs,
Dato’ Haji Kamarudin had studied under various Islamic scholars such as Ustaz Sheikh Abdul Hamid from Pakistan, the late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat and Dr. Zakir Naik.
He resigned from the Senior Management Position at Malaysian Airlines to start Dawah work full time. He currently works as a City Councilor in Penang Government, Malaysia
