Recipe Credit – Mubina
Ingredients
1 kg king prawns
1 tbsp freshly crushed garlic
3-4 Tbsp Minnies Portuguese Peri Peri Sauce
2 tbsp paprika
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
2-3 Green chilies (crushed)
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp mixed dry herbs
2-3 Tbsp olive oil.
Directions
Mix all ingredients together.
Marinate the prawns well with this mixture. Keep in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Add little dots of butter and cook in the oven on 200 degrees celsius for 10-15 min or until pink and cooked through. Transfer to a serving platter. Pour the sauce over grilled prawns. sprinkle some chopped parsley. Serve hot with rice, chips and salad.
Sauce:
1/2 cup fresh cream
2-3 Tbsp mayonnaise
3 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp freshly crushed garlic
2 tbsp Minnies Portuguese Peri Peri Sauce
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1 tsp dry parsley
Salt To taste
Pinch of red orange food color (optional)
In a saucepan whisk together butter, sauce, Kashmiri Chilli powder, Chili flakes, crushed garlic, cream, parsley, lemon juice, mayonnaise, salt and food coloring (optional).
Mix well and cook for 1 min. Cook on slow flame for another 2 mins.
Pour over grilled prawns & Sprinkle some chopped parsley.
