ASHRAF YOUSEF SULIMAN (above left), the South African Ambassador to the State of Palestine was this week honoured with the “Star of Jerusalem” award by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah “in recognition of his distinguished role in promoting relations between South Africa, and in appreciation of his efforts in supporting the Palestinian People in their just cause for freedom and independence.”
