The Southern Africa Dawah Network (SADN), a non-profit organization dedicated to the service of uplifting communities through education, dawah and community outreach projects, is proudly celebrating 30 years of impactful work across Southern Africa.

Founded in 1994, SADN has grown from a small initiative into a leading organization that addresses the critical needs of disadvantaged communities through a variety of programmes and projects. The organisation’s mission has been clear: to enhance the lives of individuals through educational opportunities, community development, and promoting religious knowledge.

Looking back on 30 years, SADN has transformed lives across Southern Africa. With our donors help we have also managed to spread this transformation to communities in the SADC region. The organisation has touched the lives of thousands of individuals and families, offering the tools needed for social, economic, and spiritual growth. Whether providing children with access to education or helping communities to recover from difficult circumstances, SADN’s commitment to positive change has never wavered.

“We are incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past 30 years through all the difficult stages in SADN’s lifespan,” said Yasmin Mohamed, Office Manager of Southern Africa Dawah Network. “This milestone reflects the hard work and dedication of our team, our partners, our donors and the communities we serve. But our journey is far from over. We are excited to continue our efforts and make an even greater impact in the years ahead.”

This Ramadan SADN will be continuing its iftar programmes, hamper distributions, dawah programmes, taraweeh at our centres and itikaaf at the M.A. Motala Islamic Centre.

Join us to support our Madressa children; Madressa adult learners; tertiary students; boarding students; orphans project; skills learners; community members and Masjid Imams. Without the assistance of the Muslim community, the SADN would have not been able to reach out to those in need.
