Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup castor sugar
- 1 plus quarter cup flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 Tbl cocoa
- 1 tsp almond or pistachio essence
- 1/4 tsp cardamom (opt)
- Half cup oil
- Half cup of boiling water
Toppings:
- Milk chocolate
- Pistachio paste
- Toasted kunefe
- Pistachios
Method:
1. Combine the oil and water – allow to cool.
2. Beat eggs and sugar till light and creamy.
3. Fold in the dry ingredients
4. Add the oil and water mixture – beat well
5. Bake at 180 for 20 minutes
Toppings:
Prepare a chocolate Ganache with cream and chocolate
2 slabs milk chocolate (melt)
Add enough cream till you happy with the consistency.
Melt pistachio paste
Toast kunefe
Few Tbl pistachio paste
1/4 cup Toasted kunefe
Combine pistachio paste with kunefe
