The Association of Muslim Accountants and Lawyers (AMAL) in association with the Office of the Tax Ombud will be presenting at seminar to empower and engage members about its services.
The Seminar will be held on Saturday, November 3, at Suite 4, GMH Centre, 32 West Riding Row, Sherwood , Durban, between 9am and 12pm.
An AMAL spokesperson said: “Some of the issues that will be addressed during the seminar include, rights and obligations of taxpayers, services offered by the Tax Ombud, how to lodge a complaint with Office of the Tax Ombud, limitation of what the Tax Ombud can deal with and cases that were resolved in favour of the taxpayers versus SARS and lastly challenges experienced by taxpayers when taxpayers deal with SARS. The seminar will afford The Association of Muslim Accountants and Lawyers and opportunity to address any tax complaints that they might have against SARS.”
