The Lajpaal Foundation will be hosting its fundraising dinner on Friday 11th May 2018 at the NMJ Hall situated in Durban. All proceeds will go towards the numerous outreach projects undertaken by the organization such as: the Darul Uloom in Sea Cow Lake, upliftment of the youth, feeding of the children on a daily basis, free Islamic education at all of its centres and school bursaries for the underprivIleged.
Feeding schemes are conducted on a weekly basis in various surrounding areas in Durban. The organization also offers counseling on various matters such as spiritual, holistic, drug, marital and many more.
In terms of goal setting, the organizations main aim and goal has always been to uplift the lives of those who are underpriviledged. In order to reach this milestone, the organization would like to take it to the next level where there would like to establish proper centers or facilities to perform these tasks on a level which will be beneficial and sustainable to humanity.
Funds or proceeds which are raised at the dinner will go towards creating a sustainable future for the less fortunate and will further assist the organization in spreading its wings with their various other projects which are in the pipeline.
The organization is in the process to acquire a property in Pretoria, Laudium to open a community development centre and another Centre/Mosque will be opening soon in Pietermaritzburg, Mountain Rise. However, funds are being raised to acquire both these properties and we need the communities support to open these centres.
The winners for the Laylatun Nujoom Contest will be announced and all the contestants will also be receiving awards. There will also be fantastic prizes and vouchers that will be given away.
Tickets for the Fundraising Dinner is available at 78 Mallinson Road or alternatively contact 031 2089592/0749278627.
