Durban to host unique course on Masjid al-Aqsa

The Caring Sisters Network (CSN) and the Women’s Cultural Group (WCG) in conjunction with the Palestine Information Network (PIN) and the South African National Muslim Women’s Forum (SANMWF) is offering AQSA 10, a comprehensive course outlining the centrality of Masjid al-Aqsa in Islam, the threats it faces, and our responsibilities towards it.

The interactive course on Thursday, March 22, will be held at the Suleman Lockhat Auditorium,
Mariam Bee Centre, from 9am to 12.30pm.The course will be presented by Hafiz Ebrahim Moosa, radio personality and researcher at Palestine Information Network (PIN).

The organizers said the course would give attendees a unique opportunity “to consolidate your knowledge on the first qiblah, second masjid, and third holiest site in our faith.”

Also covered in the session, is the plight of women under occupation, and case
studies of the women who have dedicated their lives to serving al-Aqsa.

Participants will be provided with a detailed set of notes. Cost of R100 is limited to notes only.
